Clothes

Lily is becoming quite a clothes horse.  Thanks to Nana and Grandma, she is starting to look like a NJ Housewife.  I haven't seen the show, but I imagine a lot of animal prints are involved.

I do love these shoes though.  I'll keep them forever.  Her sweet fat feet all stuffed inside!  Like pillows in ballet shoes!

I do love taking pictures of her on her back to show how super LONG she is.  However, it makes her look a little disproportionate.

She is on a blanket that Gi-Gi made her (Great-Grandma Nancy).  These are some psychedelic pants.  We've been working on her mat time to help her roll over.

We had Lily evaluated by a program called Babynet because she hasn't reached a few milestones for her gross motor skills, mainly rolling over and sitting up.  Well, she qualifies for a physical therapist to come and work with her once a week.  We aren't overly concerned for a few reasons.  One, I think she is a little behind since she couldn't see for so long.  I am pretty sure she will catch up now that she has some visual motivation.  Two, we read somewhere that the majority of babies roll from their tummy to their back since they hate being on their tummy.  So that's how we've been working with her.  But during the evaluation, she was getting really close to rolling from her back to her tummy while reaching for a toy.  And talking to other moms, a good many kids roll from their back to their tummy first.  We should have been working toward her strengths, not what the "majority" of kids do.  We are pretty sure she will get back on track fairly quickly.  I would rather be proactive than wait until there is an issue.

Got to just love the girl!  She's our perfect little Lily!
